Pics from under the caravan awning

I'm calling them Weebills . At first I thought White - Throated Gerygone , then Green - Backed Gerygone .
I'm still leening toward the later when I see the back and the beak colour . Open to correction of course .

Great shots, Narly!! I'm not familiar with gerygones but we have weebills at our place & your bird is much too yellow on the front & the bill too large to be one of those.

Hi Narly. I don't know where you live but it could possibly be a lemon-bellied flycatcher. It seems to have those whiskers that flycatchers and robins have. It's hard to tell. If it is a gerygone I would say it is a white-throated gerygone because of the amount of yellow. But, I am no expert! It is a lovely looking bird though! :)

Hi elle , I'm in Darwin at the moment on holidays . I think you hit the nail right on the head with lemon-bellied flycatcher. I missed that while going through the book .

Very nice shots Narly. I'm with Elle on the Lemon-bellied flycatcher. Their range is only in northert parts of Australia.

Cheers, Owen.
