Thanks birdie,
Been a keen birdwatcher for many years (and now photographer) but only found this sight yesterday thanks to a friend's suggestion. Spending a lot of time looking through archives of IDs and best photos!
Very nice photos, thanks for sharing them with us. The Koels have just started calling in earnest during the last week, but we did hear a lone one nearly 3 weeks ago. There is one who hangs around in out pine tree, but we haven't had any luck getting a clear pic, let alone of a chick being fed.
Great catches and welcome to the Koel season :) mrt71

Welcome to the forum and thanks for posting these. I've never found a cuckoo and foster parents and am always amazed at photos of them

Great shots have never seen one before. Striking bird.
It is a sad scenario for the wattlebirds, but I am keen for it to happen again.
Fantastic photos! I do think the Wattlebird can handle it, the rest of the time it's them bossing all the other birds! Welcome to the forum, M-L

Love them. I have never seen a Koel and I like the range shown here.
Cheers, Owen.
