Saw these just south of Tassie. Unfortunately, due to crappy weather and their diving behaviour, they're very difficult to get photos of! Sorry, only blurry, crap shots... They're hilarious birds to watch though - they come out of the water, fly low for about 10-30 metres looking absolutely uncoordinated, and then belly-flop back into the water. They look completely retarded! (sorry to be non-P.C.). They're like little penguins that can still fly... just...:
Again, sorry about the crappy photo quality - you could never tell where they were going to pop up from and get a photo in time before they disappeared again!! Hopefully going pelagic again in 2 weeks, will hopefully post some more pics then. Thanks for looking. Cheers,

I agree with birdgirl, its nice to see something different. Quality doesnt matter either we cant always get that perfect shot. Thanks for posting Scott. What a great way to spend a few hours.
