One of my regular visiters, a male White-throated Treecreeper.
he has a beautiful song
but sadly, so close to life, is also so close to death.
This beautiful Yellow Robin flew into my window, chased by a Wattlebird. He still has some nesting material in his beak.

Sorry, sorry, it is the female that has the orange spot on the cheek!! M-L

Beautiful pictures of the treecreeper, haven't seen a female yet, the orange spot stands out well doesn't it? Such a pity about the robin, didn't realise the wattlebirds would chase them so fiercly. Poor little thing.

We get those in our yard as well ! Lovely little bird
Lovely pose on the tree-creeper but sad about the robin too! Since I put wooden venetian blinds on my windows the birds seem to see them more as a barrier but in panic birds don't seem as aware of their surroundings.

My windows don't need blinds, I haven't cleaned them for months, nothing reflects in them. LOL Panic is the problem. I was stanging right next to the robin when it happened, just tried to get away from the wattlebird. M-L

Mine weren't too clean either :'D but I still had birds crash into them - I think the balconies created shadows but luckily most birds were only stunned. At least it was quick M-L.

You've captured a great moment in the top one. I'm sad to see the beautiful little robin
