How often do blackbirds have babies? The pair in my garden up are to their fourth sitting in about 3 months. Is this usual?

I am not sure how many times in a season they sit but I'm like you and have several pairs and there always seems to be young. I have the rotten things as they dig out my mulch from my garden.
those blackbirds wake me up every morning!
