Hi,
we had a pair of Eastern Rosellas rear a clutch in a nestbox on our carport last year. We would like to put up a few more boxes but we aren't sure what their territory is. How far apart would their boxes need to be?

Eastern Rosellas
Good question. I am not sure of Eastern Rosellas. I do know however, that in my local area of Penrith there is at least one spot that is rather small and has enough parrots (of many species) nesting in an area of a couple of basketball courts in relative peace. Though I am yet to see a Rosella of any kind.
Persinally, I love Eastern Rosellas because they eat seed outside my house. I recon put them about 10m+ apart. Maybe 15m.
