Found in my backyard perched on a Bushy Yates watching various bird(grub) activity about. I tried to work this one out myself and used this site to help. I think it is a collared sparrowhawk, first thought was a grey/brown goshawk but I noted there is a square tip to the tail.

It looks like a collared sparrowhawk to me.
the middle toe looks long, the brow not overly deep, square tail, I'd go for a collared.
