I'm pretty sure this is a honeyeater but struggling to find out which one. Can't find it on the bird finder after answering the questions.
This was see in Mintaro, South Australia while I was on a visit there.

Hi Kathy, lovely shot there of a White-Plumed HE I think!
The colours have come up really well...looks like he has dipped his face in a pot of pollen coloured paint doesn't he?!!!!

Thanks - I had dismissed that one because I didn't think it had enough dark feathers but perhaps I'm wrong. Yes, I was quite pleased with how the shot came out. Got another, darker one of him further in the tree too.

Such a beautiful photo! Well done. (Just in case you have any doubt, I very confidently agree with Birdie, that it's a White-plumed HE.)
I'm so envious of people who see lovely HEs. I'm often trying to find HEs on birding trips.

Another lovely shot Kathie. Hey are you resizing down to 500 on the longest edge? That is what it has to be to prevent cropping here. Maybe it will be different in the new format forum when it comes.

No, I hadn't taken it down so small. Everywhere else is 800-1000+ so I dropped it down to 800. Oh well. At least you got to see the shots :-)
