Please help me id this bird, iv looked everywhere and can't find it. It just landed in my backyard and just became real freindly over a couple of weeks. It hangs around the chook all day and then at night it flys up in to a big palm tree.

Sorry, tried to show the image, didn't work.
I went to the location and that bird looks like a Helmeted Guineafowl. What area do you live in because it is very unusual to see this bird and they are not native.
