unidetified bird

We have taken photos of a new bird we have never seen on our property before.
We are in the whitsunday region and the closest resemblance to this bird is the Spotted quailthrush however there are quite a few differences in the colouring and also the legs and beak not to mention the fact that the spotted quailthrush is said to be the most endangered bird in Australia and specific to the adelaide region.

is there anyway we can post a picture to see if others can identify it.

I changed it to a link for you - you need to use something like flickr or photobucket to host photos on the forum.

Thats a buff-banded rail too: http://www.birdsinbackyards.net/species/Gallirallus-philippensis
