Hello, alessandra! I loved your poem. I couldn't REPLY due to system error therefore try NEW POST instead. Me & my husband have been feeding lorikeets and other birds in our small backyard every day. We live near bush so we get a lot of birds. They are often fighting over food and very noisy!! We usually prepare 2 to 4 different plates at same time so that they can be equally served. And also if they are still too noisy, We take tray away for 10 mins or so till they settle down. It works well. I was worried that my neighbours might've been annoyed by noise. Fornunately, they started feeding them too!! We all laugh and say "They come and wake us up early morning every single day. But just look at that cheeky gorgeous birds. It's like.. we feeding our own babies!" Oh, not just lorikeets but also noisy miners, bluefaced honey eaters, pied currawangs etc.. they wake me up too!! hehehe
