Hi everyone,my name is Raoul, I'm from Perth w.a. just bought myself a new SLR camera and decided that bird photography will be my main subject.
Just shot some pics of my first Splendid Fairy Wren this is the first time that i have been able to get close enough for some decent shots.

Gidday Raoul I joined the site yesterday and like yourself I have just bought myself a camera that I think takes ok shots.
I have not posted any yet and after seeing yours I think it will be a while before I do {lol}.

Hi Tassie, mate you have a great name there,in other forums i use that name as i originally come from Tasmania seriously thinking of going back as its a great place.
I bought the Sony A300 SLR after a lot of research on all cameras, this one seemed to be the one for me.
Have a go at posting,if you stuff up you will know you weren't the only one as i was there first..

So I was right , even though I addessed it to the wrong person.... you are in Perth. Great place to live, though we are now in Qld after many years in Perth. I haev never been to Tasmania but it does look beautiful.
There is not really much to learn with posting, just trial and error. I use flickr and just do as it says above when you want ot put a pic in...type[img]
then immediately paste your image location in - that's the important part. you can get in by right clicking on the main photo in flickr. PAste directly after your[img]and immediately after that you have to put [/img]
That's all there is to it
