Thanks Tassie, I've had fun exploring and have already shared a couple of images in different threads. I'm sure I'll add more over time. In fact, I got an Eastern Spoonbill today but not yet ready to upload it here - need to crop and sharpen it a bit.

Hi Kathiemt, and welcome to BiBY and to the area, I'm sure we will bump into each other as we are both in the Dandenongs. Drove past Silvan reservoir the other day and will be checking that out soon. Will let you know how I go and whether it's worth a 'birding visit' :)

Thanks Hev, would love to know of other spots. Slowly exploring the area. My eldest daughter lives in Monbulk and you can see the dam from the end of her driveway.
