HI Birdie & Tassie
Yes he is a pure bred the alpine ones are shorter and stockier than the western ones his ears have lazy muscles
the only one in the litter thats why the wife picked him.
Sorry Smeedingo I must be dyslexic or something as I had read your posting as Albino dingo not alpine.
Thought you being a dog lover would like to see a couple of shots from Kaiser's younger days ( and my husbands younger days!!!) He too had a soft ear, and when he was a puppy had to have popsicle sticks taped into it to help the muscles strengthen!! I would have to scan them to post them as it was pre digital era but you can still see in this photo how his ear was a bit wobble at the side of it.
He was only ever friends with one kind of dog and wherever we moved he would find a GSP as his best mate. Here in NZ they were killing the feather duster they dragged out from our garage!
HI Birdie
Yes we tryed the paddlepop sticks but he wouldn't have it so he is the floppy earred one now the photos of Kaiser brings back so many memories they are the best dogs.
Is he a pure Dingo ? Looks a bit different around the ears. he's lovely anyway.
Thanks for posting :')

Looks like a Lab x Dingo.
He would be a good watch dog I reckon.
