Brisbane Ranges friends

Some of the charming denizens of the Brisbane Ranges I've had the pleasure of coming across.

Very nice collection, love the Kingfisher, we've only been there once it is a very good place for birds.

These are just a few of the bird pics I've taken there. We try to get there at least once a month and look at different areas as part of our explorations. I use 2 cameras with one for macro pics as the wild flowers there can be quite stunning. It also comes in handy for when certain garrulous blue wrens decide they'll become a bit inquisitive.

Is the first one a Little Woodswallow? It's the best when they're all huddled up together on a cold morning. Well anytime really isn't it. So cute. What is the fourth picture?

Do you live out that way? Have you been to the You Yangs?

I'm in Melbourne inner city, haven't been to the You Yangs since I was a little tacker on Sunday outings, keep meaning to go there but end up heading for other locations.

No. 1 is a dusky woodswallow, I reckon.
