Good pics, Shane. I love the expression on the face of the first one, and the way the light shines on the feathers of the second one, showing the colours of this bird. I get them in my yard, and it sounds like war when they clash with the mickey birds.
Thanks Matt, they are the sort of bird you won't see when you have a camera and see when you don't. The immature ones have an olive green eye patch and are basically the same.

We have a few shots of these but havent managed to get any as good as these.
