The only reason I'm posting these is to show some lucky birds, living a happy life in an evironment all birds deserve. The Masked Lapwing (Plover) is one of those unfortunate birds you find in places like Shopping Centres and at Train stations, all places they shouldn't have to live. But look , how different both, him and the White-faced Heron, look in a beautiful place like the Western Treatment Plant, a place filled with birds and beauty.
I reckon I would live there if I could, sounds like a great and unique place.

Spot on, M-L. The birds at places like the WTP always look cleaner and healthier. Their environment is also pleasing for us photographers.

It is the same with the Ibis M-L ... when you see them in the tidal flats etc living as they are meant to be they seem so different . It is lovely to photograph them naturally
