These beautiful parrots feed at my local park near the Yarra every afternoon so I went down there yesterday. This shot was made by lying on the oval trying for some time until I finally got a reasonable one.

I agree with M-L about the sun on the birds feathers. Truly beautiful. The females are quite dull by comparison but maybe when the sun shines on their feathers, they are pretty too?
