My new birding spot has some really choice photo opps..... including these two which were in the reeds and kind of in a swampy drainage channel leading from nearby cane fields

I saw the Kingfisher, but he didn't let me get close enough for a decent shot, will be back to hang around at this spot again for sure. :)

A lovely pair to see. I see a lot of kingfishers but have never ever been able to get a photo. Glad to be able to enjoy others here.
