Pretty sure it's a Shining Bronze Cuckoo, for it has no dark band across the eye. If you hear a slow, repetitive downward whistle, then it's Horsfield's, if it's a continuous ascending peeping kind of whistle, then it's a Shining Bronze.
Thankyou for the ID i think he is so cute... I will try to find him again tomorrow and get a good pic of his front. His wings are pretty when he is in flight too.. I will see how i go.
That's a bronze-cuckoo, probably a horsfield's bronze-cuckoo. Looking for a nest to lay it's egg into.
