Bassian Thrush

Although one got killed by the cat, (the one that is not coming back), one died flying into my window, there are some left, and they have a nest somewhere. They collect worms and take them into the thick bushes. That can only mean , they are feeding young. Isn't that great? It should make Woko happy, he loves the Bassian Thrush, and so do I.

Me too, they're lovely birds, and usually too shy for me to get a decent photo of them.

Nice pics.

Love the markings on this bird.  Your pics shows them very well.  Yes, since it is gathering like that, I'd say there must be young around, though I have seen some birds (not this type) store food in trees and crevices.

Good ones, Araminta. Great to see the hunting & gathering. Looks like there might be 2 or 3 young ones to feed.
