This Thursday 20th September at 5.00pm there is a show mentioned in the TV guide called "Let's go bird watching", it's on Community TV (TVS) here in Sydney on Channel-44 digital.
Not sure if it was on last week, not big on TV this way, but it caught my eye as I read the guide, hope it's an Australian show. Hopefully I will be home from work in time to watch it, if not it may be repeated as TVS often repeats shows at another day and time.
It absolutely is Raven - it was produced by the Cumberland Bird Observers Club
(I may or may not be on it...)
Its scheduled for the 27th at 5:00 as well.
The time of 1700 hours local is not good for those who work during the day as I do, all depends on the commute home from the city. Very rare I make it home before 1730 but here's hoping for today.
TVS generally repeat programmes on another day at a different time so this may work in my favour further down the perch...
I believe it is replayed fairly often Raven. It was also on dvd at some stage - the Cumberland Bird Observers Club will know if it is still available.
I actually made it home from work on time Holly and watched the show, I seem to recall that it was on TVS maybe two or more years back so it's not a new series. Still I enjoyed the repeat, loved the section on the Sacred Ibis, which they called the Australian White Ibis plus the various ducks and other water fowl.
Good show, well put together and the presenter was very professional too, actually picked up some tips on the alignment of bincoluars.
