Great shots Kim, not a cute bird by all means. Apparently they can be quite annoying though, that is their call is this correct? The tail feathers are lovely. Hope they come back and visit and are not to bothered by the miners.
You are so very lucky to have seen one up close Kim ...good shots !! I have heard a few here lately, but it may be a bit too early in the season to see them yet.
