I was down at the Botanic Gardens recently in Cranbourne and the honeyeaters were attracted to the flowering Grass Trees.

Great shots Owen. The New Hollands fly all over the gardens and always appear very busy. Did you enjoy the gardens? Stage 2 opens in 2 weeks i think, we are looking forward to that as we helped with some of the planting.
Excellent work Owen, as always. The detail in the flower is outstanding, great photography.

Thanks M-L and Cath & Shane.
Yes, I did enjoy the gardens, it was the first time I had been and I was impressed, it will be interesting to see the new part when it opens.
Cheers, Owen.
Nice photos Owen, they have good contrast and clarity. I haven't seen either of these in the wild yet.
Regards
Shane
Lovely shots Owen .... what gear are you using these days? I thought I had some New Hollands today, but they turned out to be White Cheeked HEs ... heaps of them .... can't say I was disappointed really, but i dont think I have ever seen a NH anywhere yet.
