Since Birdie (Adrienne) kind of pestered me, I hereby post this grabshot (very true) of my local male White-bellied Sea Eagle out near Castlereagh. I have a good vantage point from which I could take this image, but I was about 40m away when my friend was manically beeping the horn of her 4WD to go and see the sea eagle dive to the lake. I ran to the spot (with my three dogs in tow) just to try and catch a glimpse of this magnificent predator. I came away with three quick images, of which I kept two. This, and one other, which has the wings at a more awkward angle.
I had to be super quick with holding, aiming and fire using my back-up camera (30D), which really sucks when I compare it to my 1D series body. In any case, I walked away with an ear-to-ear smile and my best ever sea eagle flight shot to date.
Great shot Akos, i'll bet you had a smile on your face after that!
Superb shot of a beautiful BOP ... I wouldn't say pestered Akos...... that's a bit harsh .... encouraged maybe as people love to see some of your work , I know I do. The more variety we get the better educated we all are for seeing them , no matter what the quality !!
Thanks for posting that
Cheers Adrienne
