I have been collecting pictures of birds in our backyard and noticed a rare visitor, this plover (and a couple of mates) As I watched it walk around the yard I noticed it was getting quite a build up of rain on its back and thought it had to shake sooner or later - I managed to press the shutter at just the right time - actually 7 frames a second helps
Cheers,
Geoff
Very nice shot and captured at the right time. Well done.

Brisbane southside.
Love it, great shot.
Beautiful timing...and yes 7 FPS helps a lot but you still have to anticipate and be ready to shoot. Great shot Geoff, I must have missed this when you first posted it .
