stranded at the edge of a lake

went back to the lake to see how the tiny coots were doing. One of the two had jumped out of the water, mum didn't seam to worry. So he walked up and down screaming and trying to get back in the water. As you can see, he did pluck up the courage to jump.

(these photos are a bit different to what you might be used to see from me, but that is the kind of photography I like, they illustrate the feeling of being lost. At least to me they do.)
