Yes, it's amazing how quickly they appear after I have been cutting wood or mowing or moving piles of rubbish - anything that exposes a few insects. The robins are always first there!
She looks a bit wet, was it raining? I love the way she klings to the tree, they fly at great speed, and land on the trees. I'm sure they see you coming with your shovel, sometimes they even sit on it. At our place they love the horsepoo pile, because it's full of worms and bugs.
Beautiful photo soakes. I love the robins - such curious and jolly little birds. At one of my research field sites I had one that would follow me all the way along my survey transect.
Haha soakes, Yellow Robin girls always look a bit dirtier than the boys, they don't have to impress, it's the boys that have to look beautiful. Otherwise they might not make husband (that is breeding) material, she will take the best looking one.
Lovely shot Soakes. They are curious little birds. We have a couple here on our property and they follow me around the garden from time to time.

I'm not quite sure why s/he looks a bit scruffy. It wasn't raining, but the grass might have been damp.
