My favourite little bird is feeding her new young. I just love her, I think she is the most beautiful girl in my garden. Her new husband is helping, good choice girl.
Here she is a few moments ago. Only took a few photos, don't want to bother her.

Oh yummy! Bit of a pain when you don't have pockets, isn't it.
Beautiful captures.

She knows me so well by now, or is it the other way around? I can get very close to her, she sings infront of my window sometimes. Her one legged husband is her "ex" now. She has paired up with a new one (2 legs). The old guy now lives behind the house. (no joke!), I still see him from time to time. As for the young, I have no idea how many, I can wait. She is using the same nest, hidden inside a dense small shrub. I'm not even tempted to have a look, her nest, her eggs, her young. I'm simply a privileged observer.
I hope I'm close by when they emerge.

You are so lucky to be able to get so close. Great shots, they're really lovely.

I wasn't home all day, so I couldn't keep an eye on her. She was still feeding when I came home. But right above the well camouflaged nest, sat a Kookaburra staring at the shrub. It doesn't look too good, does it? That would be the second time she would loose her brood. See what tomorrow brings?

Good news about 'your' girl. Such lovely shots, too. I saw a pair of Kookas raiding a Rainbow Lorikeet's hollow today. The Lorikeets were going beserk but, luckily for them, the Kookas came away emptyhanded (emptybeaked?). Just nature at work, I suppose....

She's just gorgeous. I hope the predators stay out of the nest this time.
I read somewhere that fairy wren hatchlings are the size of thumbnails.
