We went back to the wetlands again, last week my photos didn't turn out as good as I wished. Today there were more waders than last week, but we couldn't get close enough, although the tide was out, there was water between the sandbank and us, most birds were far away. I got some photos, but not all that good in my opignion
I saw Ibis, Spoonbills, Great Egrets, all kinds of Ducks, Cormorants,Black-fronted Dotterels, Red-kneed Dotterels and Sharp-tailed Sandpipers. And a few Black-winged Stilts and Pelicans.
(might post some more tomorrow?)

Jawbone is a great birding place and you've come away with some very nice images. Have a look around the reedy areas on the left (as you come out of the hide) for Australian Spotted Crake. If there are muddy margins, they'll be there. Please post more if you have them.
