thanks Roly, I know, they are my favourite birds, I have followed the girl for a very long time. She had a husband, he lost a leg, she exchanged him for one that has two legs. They build a nest, had two lots of eggs, but they got eaten by Wattlebirds. Now the Wattlebirds have moved on, they are breeding again for the third time. I have documented it all,( about 300 photos, many of the one-legged male before he got booted out)). Now there are two pink blobs in the nest and both are feeding. I hope they'll make it.
Both parents are now feeding non stop. I had a little look , the babies are growing fast. Will not take any photos, there is a lot of grass infront of the entrance. They use it to land on, and I'm not going to cut off anything, I'd rather not have any photos.Sorry guys.
Both the Wattlebird and a Kookaburra in the first case must have been "immature males", (a joke that is not funny, Darin knows) BTW, I never said they ate the eggs, should have said they took the babies, Ha Ha
Dear little soul!

The tucker those wrens are feeding their young certainly shows the value of having diverse native habitat that suits a wide range of creatures.

Woko, I'm sure you even know what kind of moth it is? I just wonder how she feeds it to those tiny pink blobs the size of a thumb-nail?

Excellent capture!

Araminta, it might be an eyespot anthelid but don't hold me to it. I'm better at identifying cars than I am at moths where I'm a raw beginner.
.......yea, I have found something you don't know
I don't know much about cars, they come in red, blue, geen....
