Thanks Dale, Love those birds, but they are not in Tassie these are regulars to our backyard in NSW. We are located between Wagga and Griffith and about 5 ks from the Mumumbidgee. Have seen them down there a few years ago and could not see much difference...my guess is that they are a hybrid between the local Yellows and your Greens and that is why we have spotted those two blacks (?a three way cross?). They seem more plentiful than Yellows around town now so maybe the green genetics is stronger than the yellow? I need to learn more about these little beauties. But for the moment they provide wonderful entertainment and remain a mystery. cheers ad.
