We went to the Western Treatment plant yesterday. What an amazing day it was, thousands of birds, waders and ducks of any kind imaginable. BOP in the air, at times 6 in one spot. I will sort them out later, to find some good ones (?) Here are two I like, it was hard to get many in one shot , but trust me there were hundreds and hundreds.
First photo , Red-necked Avocets, and Pink-eared Ducks.
Second one I need some help with, I would think Red-necked Stints? (or are they Sandpipers?)
Owen will tell us any minute
......and there were a few hundred of those: Red-necked Acocets and Banded Stilts , both adults and juveniles.

Just a couple of birds around that part of the world
