I took this at Kangaroo Island August 2012. I think it might be a Lesser Sand Plover, but not completely sure. Sorry the photo is not very clear, it was taken from a cliff looking down to the beach.

They are Stints, not Plovers. I assume Red-necked Stints. It would be very difficult to rule out Little Stint from that photo, but there has been very few confirmed records of Little Stint in Australia. So 99.99% Red-necked Stint.
