Today was a sort of grey day, ideal for photography. We went up to Phillip Island to find some BOP.
First stop was “Swan Lake”. I thought , just some ducks, boring. But… then I noticed there were many Freckled Ducks amongst them. Only my second sighting. Here are some of them.
Very nice, M-L. Love the way you can stalk the birds and close the distance between yourself and your subject.

I'd say Freckled Ducks were a fabulous exchange, assuming the BOP's didn't show up M-L? Freckled Ducks are just beautiful imo. Looks like a wonderful spot for waterbirds.
