Which I note in Morcombe is now Geopila placida (Peaceful Dove).
Lovely photo of a bird I haven't seen yet. For a dove/pigeon, it has a very long tail, or does it just look like it?

the colour looks more brown in 'fluffy' stance rather than the usual grey; did it seem different to you?

The first one is in shadow. The second one is in sunlight. If I remember correctly it was golden sunlight!
