I believe that #2 is a Black Kite: amount of leg visible - the Square-tailed legs are barely visible when sitting; amount of white on face - the Square-tailed would have more; primaries do not extend beyond the tail - the Square-tailed does; yellow legs & feet - the Square-tailed is white
what a great day, my Slater guide suggests that #3 is a Stripe-breasted Brown Falcon, is that how you IDed it?
Peter
I am just about to submit it for id!
Just wonderful. How lucky are you to get such a variety. The Pacific Baza is beautiful All I can say is WOW to all of them !!! Very very envious.

Damn, that sounds hard to take Alan!
It's a rare day that you see BoP in this urban environment.

Rather grey for a black kite isn't it, Peter? Does the grey colour & the yellow above the bill mean that it's a juvenile black kite?
#2 seemed bigger than black kites. Also when they fley away I could not detect the V in the tail?
here's a pic from NT in March that I IDed as a Black Kite, I think that it looks very similar.
