Bird of the Week: 22nd July - favourite colour

Howdy everyone - apologies for being a day late. We have lost internet in our office and so I was totally disconnected yesterday! Still scrambling with other devices today to get me through but hopefully all should be sorted today.

Anyway, back to the theme. This week - pick your favourite colour and post a photo of a bird that best encapsulates that. Try to think of your colour and work back :)

I love "black&white". Many years ago, when the kids were littlewink, we even had black carpet in the whole house.

Green is a nice colour, even though it's not on a native bird:

M-K,

Your photographs are sooo sharp and pretty. What in the world is your "secret" to getting such great results?

I am planning on getting a Canon 40d... coupled with my 100-400 L, I am hoping to get better images.

You are awesome,

Phil
