After admiring your recent photos on Flickr I have noticed your new composition technique you have been applying. The other day was trying to snap away at this Eurasian Coot and it was approaching me at a rapid pace that i had trouble keeping it in frame , so (by accident) these photos reminded me of your brilliant work.

Thanks, Shoop I have to be honest, my composition technique is done with cropping mostly

Hahahaha Elsie , quite the opposite actually , I was a some feet away from the Coot as I don't like to get too close in fear of scaring them away but this location I was at was behind a Primary School so i think the Coots and Ducks are very fond of being feed by the children. While in the crouching position and eager to snap happily away at this Coot on the bank of the lake it saw me and decided to approach rapidly without any anger or fear , just eager for food. It does worry me when they don't show any fear of humans and depend upon them for food.

Well I have to say that i love it anyway so next time i am off birding I might actually try practicing this technique, (only wish i had a massive camera like yours) you might actually start a new compostition fad here , everyone will be posting ''to the side photos'' LOL !
