At a water hole near my house. The Wood Ducks are all in pairs now. Only one is on it's own, his partner got run over by a car last week, he looks very sad, walking by himself

Plenty of girl Wood Ducks down here, last year with 2 pairs we had 19 ducklings, which all appeared to make it, and so far it looks like there are a dozen or so that have returned (maybe different family)
