My mother used to tell me when I was a young mother with small children, there are more important things to do than look after the house. Take the children for a walk and teach them how to " listen to the silence of nature". Only one of the very intelligent advice my mother handed down to me

One of the problems many people have today, the "silence of nature" gets drowned out by "the noises of technology"

What chance does nature have, if we don't teach our children to listen, discover and respect the beauty of small and silent things like birds?
