I have never seen Eurasian Coots behave like this before. At first I thought it was some kind of mating ritual as there was so much of that going on about the Lake. But it progress rapidly to more of a vicious chest bumping , locking of each others feet , who could recline back the most, and throwing each other as hard as one could against other. It was all out war with them on the lake today .
