So envious I think I actually might cry. My first bird book purchase was Birds of the Greater South West by Simon Nevill , which I constantly use all the time out of all of my reference bird books . Besides the Bush Stone -curlew, this beautful bird the Australian Pratincole were the two on my'' most wanted'' list to see ( neither one has be accomplished yet :( ) Such a striking looking bird , well done on you and thanks so much for sharing . Cross fingers one day I will get to see one of my own !
What a darling bird with such a sweet face! Great find & capture narly! You're certainly having a birding bonanza trip , wonderful. I think I said it in another post, but looking forward to seeing what you find next!
