This afternoon there were hundreds of these around my garden. I have never seen that many in my life.
Lovely photos M-L!
Australian Painted Lady. Native daisies are its favoured caterpillar food.
Two small grass yellows at my place (s.e. slopes of Mt Lofty Ranges, SA) yesterday. Favoured caterpillar food are Senna species.
Excellent shots, M-L. The more insects, the more food for the birds
I was taking shots of Dragonflys today

By coincidence I've seen an Australian Painted Lady on three occasions today. It must be the Year of the Australian Painted Lady.

That and more importantly, it shows that the environment in my garden is almost as it should be
Haven't seen any Dragonflys in my garden yet.

How good Woko, I saw a few different ones today, but didn't have the time to take photos.
