Small Grey Bird ID's - possibly juveniles.

Hi Guys,

I was out walking in D'Aguilar National Forest (outside Brisbane), and came across an abundance of birds, some of which I need a hand with Identifying.

First two pics are same bird - my initial thought was a Brown Gerygone, given their prevalence in the area, but not sure.

Third and fourth are different angles on same bird/s. Can't quite put my finger on what type of juvies they are.

Thanks in advance. :)

I'm not too sure on this one. My firs thoughts were a thornbill, but the eyes don't look right.

I'd suggest a Robin of some sort, but can't be too much more specific.

Cheers

Windshear - my 1st impression is Pale Yellow Robin becasue of body shape and stance in pic 4; the Morecombe's App does not have PYR juvenile pics so I will look tonight

Peter - I had thought (since posting) along the lines of the PYR, as it has been reported in the area / general site where the photos were taken.

Just attached a couple more pics of the first bird, which might add something as far as the stance / bill goes.

However, I've kind of come around to thinking that Bird #1 may be a large billed scrubwren.

I didn't get back to this last night - connectivity issues, apparently Optus doesn't like Parkes, NSW.

I still believe that pics 3 + 4 are PYR. Pics 1 + 2 might both be Large-billed Scrubwren

Wouldn't a Pale Yellow Robin have more white behind the bill going from above the bill?
