Two adult kookaburras who are regular visitors have recently appeared with babies. Here one is being fed while the other looks on longingly.
Nice one, snrbudden. Any idea where the kookaburras might have nested?

They appear to have had their nest in a dense patch of rainforest type trees bordering our property.
Wonderful to know they chosen, (and been able), to nest so close to home. Is it the first time you've seen the pair bring their young ones, or has it happened in previous years too?

Thanks, rbuddy. Koookaburas usually nest in tree hollows so there might be one or two of those nearby.
We've only lived in the area since early this year so I guess the test will be next year.
