Went back to the wetlands at Wynnum yesterday, it had been a while since my last visit. There was no sign of the Bazas, and the flycatchers and Woodswallows have all appeared to have moved on as well. So I had to stretch my legs a bit in search of birds. :)
Birds -
Chestnut-Breasted Mannikins
Juvenile Chestnut Breasted Mannikin
*** Tawny Grassbird with a big spider for lunch.
(I think) A juvenile Red-Backed Wren.
White-Throated Honeyeater
Love those Mannikins gotta get me some shots 'o' them. (might have to wait for a new camera though)
I see them quite often, but it was a first time seeing young ones.![laugh laugh](https://www.birdsinbackyards.net/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/teeth_smile.png)
Great photos, I love the Golden-headed Cisticola with the huge spider, fabulous catch. (you and the bird

I think the tail of your "Cisticola" is too long... I'd say Tawny Grassbird.

Yep, you're right, now I look at it again.

They are both present at the wetlands, and to be honest I only heard the cisticolas tseee-whipping away. (just because you can hear a duck, doesn't mean it is a duck)
Thanks for the correction!![laugh laugh](https://www.birdsinbackyards.net/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/teeth_smile.png)
All beautiful captures again windshear, great variety. I think I'm developing bird envy over your Wynnum Wetlands
. Each time I see shots of those Mannikins ... so lovely. Really like the mirrored pose of the background bird, ignoring the top of their perches, almost looks like it could be a reflection of the foreground subject - love it!
