Absolutely, they sure are! Very patriotic with their green and gold flecked chests too. Another set of beautiful shots Lachlan! Wish I could get as close to the Green Rosellas as you have with these gorgeous birds! Fantastic stuff!
Hey Lachlan, lovely images of a lovely Lorikeet, spectacular colours with the green, gold and splash of red very nice indeed. Here in Redland bay I see a lot of Rainbow Lorikeets but not too many of the other varieties of Lorikeet & others eg rosellas and such though I'm sure their around, i've just got to get out more.
I think they are beautiful, just like your photos

Great photos,
Here in Vic I have seen wild scaly breasted x rainbow lorikeet and possibly x musk.
I have only ever seen one Scaly before, are they as noisy as the Rainbows?
Great pics.

Love Scaly-Breasteds Lachlan.
Rainbows are so ubiquitous these days, it's nice to see some different ones.
It was great to see them, I only ever seen Rainbows in NSW, so they did make a nice change.
The noise they make is only barely distinguishable from Rainbow Lorikeets- they're slightly shriller, but make just as much!
