The Australian Ringneck has a few names and it is classified as having a number of 'races' (I think 4 or 5 all up). The race 'semitorquatus' is the one known as the Twenty-Eight parrot
I have had a look on my computer and I actually don't seem to have any of the Twenty-Eights (and no ringnecks from you george) - I have a Mallee Ringneck and a Port Lincoln from a couple of sources.
I checked in your post George and it has well and truly disappeared! I will have to raid the BirdLife photo stocks to find one for you both
that is great many thanks and may your putuniaus have many flowers.
I will gladly post multiple photos of Twenty-eights if you want me to, george.
We do want you to..... thanks Nathan
