I hadn't seen Frankie or Janet for some time. Today Frankie turned up , to sit in the shady tree above the water bowl. No sight of Janet, she might be sitting on eggs? Frankie is best friends with the Moo-birds (Bronzewings), they hang out together and sometimes sit next to eachother in the tree.
Here are some photos I took this morning , before it gets too hot
One question, I have never seen the Kings have a bath, they only come to drink. Same goes for the Bronzewings. Have you seen them have a bath? I'd love to see a photo of it?Sorry, can't show the photos, my PC is playing up. Try again later

Did you click <Save> 3 times, Araminta, in an effort to send the 1 photo?
Very nice I think I like number 2 the most.

So out of the first 3, which one do you like best Woko??![cheeky cheeky](https://www.birdsinbackyards.net/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/tongue_smile.png)

The funny thing about the "Moo birds" is, that all my friends and the kids call them that now. Who knows a few more generations down the track the name might make it into the books?

You'll probably find the King's like a spray ML![wink wink](https://www.birdsinbackyards.net/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/wink_smile.png)

Not too sure about Bronzewings if they bathe in water as they only visit on the rare occasion.
But I was very surprised to see a Spotted Dove bathing in the bird bath this morning. They are in the yard daily and always sitting on the edge of the bird bath but this was the first time I ever witness one taking a bath. I have seen the laughing doves bathe in the sand before and even on the grass but not in the water.

Very interesting, and great shots. The Bronzswings often sit in the water for some time, just cooling their feet, but that's all. Never seen them dunk like in your photos.

Great shots! Look like their having fun.
Found this. Bronzewing having a bath.

Thanks for the link Shorty, I wonder if it would dunk under water and splash around? Mine do sit in the bath quietly, much like this one as if they only want to cool their feet![wink wink](https://www.birdsinbackyards.net/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/wink_smile.png)
I still wonder if anyone has seen a King Parrot have a bath? Have you Shorty?
M-L
No, but maybe they like to had a bath in private![wink wink](https://www.birdsinbackyards.net/sites/all/libraries/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/wink_smile.png)
